I've never really thought of Bay Street as an attraction, but I suppose the stretch south of Queen is noteworthy for the bank towers. Between Queen and Bloor it's a bit more dead (mostly condos and apartments), although the intersection at Bloor is vibrant.

This is the financial capital of Canada so if you are in the mood to see the stiff collared shirts with ties and business suites this is the place to be.

Very busy financial district in the hear of Toronto. Numerous bank towers, City Hall, hotels, restaurants, courts & bordering on China Town extending down to lake Ontario. Beautiful new buildings combined with older heritage sites. Access to shopping centers is excellent.

Walked along Bay today right from Union Station all the way up to Bloor. A lot to see along the way. Lots of people walking. Great food options.

I don't think it's better than Yonge Street, but it's another street that you should probably drive or walk in Toronto. Lots of things to see, from the waterfront right to the tallest of buildings.

By standing here you can watch the towers touching the sky and get some beautiful pictures to click around.
