Bus tours are great to get around the city hop on hop off option. Saves your feet if you just want to look around without the walking. If you time it right you can use it often, but if you're just in town for a few hours it may not be worth the money for you.

We got on and rode it to the places we wanted to see. Got information throughout the trip and it was all good tidbits that we found interesting! We got off when we wanted to see something and never waited more that 8 mins for a bus. Wish it would run a little longer at night, but we felt like... More

They have red & yellow buses - friendly staff. We chose the 48 hour pass at $45 each - but beware the last tour is at 5. For those of us not experienced in Toronto - it was a great option - it took the figuring out of getting to the main attractions. The moderators appeared to be students and... More

If you want a quick way of working your way round Toronto do this tour. If you think you will get amazing history and landmarks. Don't do this tour. But to be fair - there's not that much history. It's not like seeing amazing buildings steeped in hit pry in London. This is very boring, long and warm and not... More

The tour cost 44 dollars. It really isn't worth it! The guides are friendly but they really don't give you much information. There really isn't much to see. The tour takes two hours to go around. We stopped at one stop near the end and we were told there would be a 15 min stop. We were letting sitting in... More

If you are new to Toronto this is a good way to get your bearings. About 20 stops that give you a flavor of the city. Recommend.

We decided to do the tour on the spur of the moment. The speaker system was not functioning, so we did not hear much commentary and found some of the tour slightly boring. Toronto is not an old city with interesting buildings or much history, therefore it cannot be labeled as a 'beauty' - so, one needs to find her... More

The tour was amazing it was 26C so that helped, but we did the circuit first, before getting off for an included harbour cruise, before doing another circuit back to our hotel. The guides were very amusing, but gave heaps of local information. A day well spent

this is a three day thing, and the red and yellow buses are the same company. you can save on cabs and transit if you have them first day of trip and use continuously. Great for sunny summers. Guides are good! Its a cab fare!

When we visited Toronto in August the public transport was a bit of a mess due to refurbishment of tram and metro lines so we used the buses as a way of getting around. The guides were all very enthusiastic and even though we repeated some of the sections a few times we learned a new fact each time from... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
