My fiance and I wanted to see Niagara falls and this had even extra things that we didn't really consider prior to. First off I'm a paraplegic, normally they only do pick ups from downtown Toronto and we were in North York, but they picked us up anyway and the van was just for us so it was basically a... More

I recommend 100% this well organized tour. Our gide Saby was awesome. Great stories, professional and funny too. This guy loves his job. The falls are must to visit. Be sure to take the boot-trip and buy your tickets on the bus to avoid the queue. Great place for pictures.

It was a great experience, Everything on the website is real, we travel in small group of 3, in a nice luxury car. We took the night tour so we can see the falls both when it's dark and in the day. Friday is a good one as well because there's a firework. The tour guide pick and drop us... More

Gary the tour guide was a really nice guy and made the day good. Was very attentive and helped out a lot, have lots of information along the journey as even took us to places outside of the tour, such was his helpfulness The reason I give it a 3 is basically because of the admin for the tour. We... More

Tour minibus turned up on time with a cheerful driver and complimentary water if required. Bit of a drag picking up other guests, which involved a delay but hey ho. Bus was air conditioned but not luxurious. It did mean that we could get close to attractions rather than be dropped in a distant coach park so you decide. Our... More

This, like so many other tours starting in large cities, makes several pick ups from Downtown hotels before you can get going. We drove to the Royal Tours office to pick up our driver/guide and then headed off to Niagara. Our man was informative and friendly. We parked close to where we picked up the boat. It’s well organised and... More

Without going into any detail of disaster that threatened to derail a hugely expensive once-in-a-lifetime trip to Niagara Falls for us and 12 other tourists may we suggest before booking a tour with either Royal or Zoom, you take note of the following points: The core problematic issues are the, as yet unexplained, link between Royal Tours and Zoom Tours... This is mesmerising, the power of the water going over is stunning, we went down onto the appron right next to the falls at the base, (take a hooded Mac) the roar of it is overwhelming, you can actually go inside the rock as well, it sounds like a 100 trains going by second by second, there are good cafes... We were in Toronto for a Gift Show and had Saturday free to check out the sites so my friend and I decided to go to Niagara Falls. We did have access to a vehicle but thought it would be easier to have a guide since both of us had not been to the Niagara area before. I am so... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
