    Great place!

    I've been coming since it opened, first as a child, now I bring my children. A lot of fun, and very educational. Will be going again this year when we visit TB.

    40 reconstructed frontier buildings

    Great even in low season

    Our tour guide was extremely knowlegable and taught us a great deal about Canadian history. Wonderfully kept grounds, animals were awesome and the cafe food good for the price.

    Fantastic

    Very interesting seeing how it was and how far we've come in living style. Special Events like renactment of War of 1812 were incredibly organized with rehearsed actors, gun fire, hidden pyro technics, etc.

    At least 2 to 3 hours. Take your time, enjoy the farm and aboriginal encampment. Many buildings and stories to be told by the actors.

    Sometimes there are sponsored events outside the fort by the parking areas. I would check the event schedule to see what might be happening in July. Enjoy your visit!
