This is where the locals go to cool off on a hot summer day. Even the city buses have a stop here in the summertime. The beach has lifeguards, a good play structure for kids, several beach volleyball courts, washrooms and change rooms. The parking...More

Have ridden the loop around Lake Ramsey on bikes. Stopped at Moonlight Beach. Was going to go in for a swim but it was too chilly even after a few hours bike ride. Couldn't really sit anywhere on the grass due to the bird poo...More

Swimming, suntanning, picnicking, playing on swings, etc, etc, etc. This is THE place to go for Sudburians who want to have a good summer day time.

Awesome beach with nice shallow water for little ones. Has restroom for changing. Nice play equipment available as well. Parking is limited.

This was only my second visit to this beach, it was nice and clean. The store was closed but the washrooms were open. I also went for a nice walk in the trails. This is a nice location to bring kids.

Spent the afternoon with the grand children. The area is fairly well spread out so congestion is not a problem. It could use more picnic tables but overall is well maintained and easily accessible.

Who would have thought that a beautiful beach existed in the rocky City of Greater Sudbury. When the water warms it will be a good swim or have something at the canteen.

A smaller beach and park but still great for being at the beach and a different experience than bell park!

The beach is very good, has lifeguards..change areas, washrooms, food facility..nice sunsets..it is the start of the trans Canada walking trail,biking,hiking..but watch the off leash dogs that are allowed to do their business where you would like to maybe lay your blanket or walk the trail..
