Price was great. I would suggest the three day pass so if you like something you can come and go as you please. Don't eat at the science north it was terribly expensive. I would suggest the mine tour it was a lot of fun and interesting

We stopped briefly to show the kids the Big Nickel. They thought it was great. Next time we return we would love to experience the mine tour at Dynamic Earth - just did not have the time today. The new outdoor play area looks fantastic for kids as it really shows the mining culture in a fun way. (Must purchase... More

Have gone to Science North twice & Dynamic Earth once in the last 3 months, as a volunteer/helper with my grandson's grade 3 class. On both visits to Science North, students spent several hours at various exhibits, intrigued by the presentations given by the experienced Blue Jackets & then participating in various hands-on experiments; many exhibits feature live animals, birds,... This place is good for people who want to see how mining works- however, people who work/previously worked in mines would be offended at the knock-off mine. The mine and Big Nickel are also the main attractions of this place. Other than the mine and indoor and outdoor play structures, there isn't much to do.

Hello Katherine, Thank you for your feedback. Our underground tour is a walk through the ages in mining that has been assembled together with our industry partners in the mining sector. However, we are interested in getting more information from you as we always welcome feedback and ideas for improvements with any of our exhibits. Would you be able to... More

We had just been to Science North and just missed getting into this attraction since it had just closed. It would go hand in hand with Science North. Would be nice if it closed later than 5pm

This place offers a really good overview of the history of mining in Canada. For smaller kids there is a mine play structure that will keep the little ones busy for hours. The sand box was just amazing.

It's been a while since we have been here and I was happy to see the updates. Everything was well run/organized. The underground tour was great. After trying to get the kids out of the kids' mining area was very hard, crying that they wanted to stay. I'm sure they would have been happy staying there for hours. I also... More

Went during march break with 7 year old and two 4 year olds. The mine tour was a tad on the technical side, even for me watching the boys so maybe not totally focusing I was lost in parts. The play structure is fantastic the boys loved it. The area with rocks and minerals was great. Made even more interesting... More

Very interesting visit to understand and appreciate the mining industry. The trip down the shaft is really entertaining but not for kids as helmets are required. Definitively worth spending an afternoon visiting the big nickel.

This spot gives people a first hand view of what goes on in our Mines. It is also an Enlarged duplicate of what a Nickel looks like. Awesome gift shop.
