We had our first 2017 Stratford outing to see a play at the Avon - The School for Scandal. What a wonderful production!!! Geraint Wyn Davies is the show! -- but that does not undermine the rest of the cast -- they too were fabulous. It was enjoyable, fun, first rate theatre from beginning to end. How fortunate we are... I would highly recommend the Stratford Festival to anyone looking for a place to escape and enjoy some of the finest theatre in the world. I’ve been many times over the years and have never been disappointed. Every performance I have seen is very creative and always top-drawer and flawless.

First rate of course. HMS Pinafore was a classic first rate production with a cast that excelled. Wife and friends also give a rave review.

The Festival brings together some of Canada's most talented actors to perform the works of Shakespeare, Broadway musicals, classics and new plays. The theatre's thrust stage provides an intimate experience for the audience -- there really are no bad seats in the house. A visit to the Stratford Festival should be on the bucket list of any Canadian who enjoys... More

We have seen theatre all over the world, (New York, Chicago, London UK, etc.) and this is as good as it gets, on par with anything else, anywhere. There is something for every theatregoer's taste. Big musicals, family shows, new Canadian plays, searing American drama and oh yeah, Shakespeare all done with a company that rivals any in the world.... More

A lesser work, none of us had seen it before, and exactly the kind of confusion-of-identity women-dressed-as-men things that does not interest me, as a rule. This fantastic cast, however, made converts of all of us, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Sir Toby Belch was wonderful, we couldn't imagine anyone doing the role better. And Sir Andrew Aguecheek was absolutely... More

Saw the show Saturday.. Gilbert and Sullivan combine lyrics and music which are both unforgettable,,, The cast were all excellent and the social commentary on class divisions...thought provoking... A great play to take a date...or teens ...or retired golf. You will be humming for days!

My children's school had a field trip for the upper grades to this AMAZING and wonderfully done performance! I had been to a couple others here, and though I enjoyed those as well, this was by far my favorite! Couldn't say enough about these excellent actors and their sheer talent and abilities! LOVED it!!
