Lake side beach has a long history... my family has been going here for generations. The beach is large enough for a lot of fun activities. The water was in good condition and safe to go in when I was there.

Lovely beach perfect for a nice dip in the Lake or to put a canoe in and paddle. Bring a picnic or a football and have a fun afternoon enjoying the beautiful beach.

After a spring of flooding, the beach and area has been re-established. Though the full pier is not available for walking, you can still have a great experience.

We visited while the waters were still high. My first visit but my husband pointed out where the waters used to be compared to where they were that day. The courts with nets strung for beach volleyball were under water. Yikes! Certain areas were still...More

There used to be a large gazebo with hibachis to use...but they just removed it last year so now its just a beach with volleyball nets and some park benches
