The Shaw Centre in the heart of downtown Ottawa plays host to many of the capital city's important events. We've visited for events like The International Auto Show, cultural events like Queer Sphere and exhibits showcasing new products and services in the nation's cannabis industry. Adjacent the Rideau Mall, The Shaw Centre affords easy access to some of Ottawa's best shopping and excellent dining, cafes and taverns are nearby.

Shaw Centre is attractive from the outside. Certainly worth checking out as you stroll the city. Really though, it's just a conference centre. Unless you have meetings there, there is no reason to go inside.

The view from the convention center was beautiful and the convention center spacious. The meal for our gala evening was good but not great.

The Centre is spacious but does not come off as cold and institutional. Clean, and well ventilated. Washrooms are very clean. Great location, too!

Attended a birthday party here. Space was gorgeous, staff were great. The food was just ok, but we had a fabulous night.

Attended a conference here for 4 days. It was easy to navigate and find the rooms. On the day I had to present, the tech support guy was right there to help with any issues.

Attended two day conference. The location and parking were easy to access but more expensive then expected. The centre is right by the rideau canal and minutes walk to the byward market.
