I went camping this past weekend with my friends, and unfortunately will not be returning, nor would I recommend camping here unless you are a retired couple. My friends and I rented two campsites across from each other for two nights, the furthest away possible...More

The only thing recommending this campsite is that it's close to Ottawa. There isn't a lot to do if you plan on staying and camping, but great if you're using it as a home base for visiting the Capital.

This is a small park with not really a whole lot going on, but it is only a short detour from the highway and shows a nice portion of the Rideau River. There are a few walking paths, but there are not particularly noteworthy.

This provincial park is great for young families and people who are new to camping in provincial parks. The staff were very friendly and professional, however the beaches were very shallow and I would not recommend this park to people looking to swim all day.
