Beautiful park by the Ottawa river. Bike path, pool, play structures... there's something for everyone. It's especially convenient with the newly built pedestrian bridge over the river. Our favourite thing to do is sunbathe in the grass and have lunch. Sometimes the ducks will even come up to you and say hi! One of my favourite summertime spots.

We often visit this park in the spring, summer and fall. There is always something interesting going on there whether it is human or natural. It is a long park that follows the river for 1km? and fairly wide so you aren't aware of the traffic on the street that borders it on the other side from the river. There... More

The park is beautiful. The new bridge connecting it to the other side of the river is a beautiful addition. Something for everyone. You can even go down to the water.

It is a small park in the middle of the city, with a lot of nice pathways. Good for children both in the summer but also in the winter. Parking close to the park.

I saw with friends last night a production of live theatre in Strathcona Park called The Servant of Two Masters and I loved it. The park, which is an amazing place to toboggan in snowy weather, is an excellent venue for live theatre. It is spacious, easily accessible and is close to parking:)

Very nice, clean and well kept park along the Ottawa River. We like to walk through it after dinner when it is nice and cool out. Always a lot of hustle and bustle in the park...lots of squirrels, ducks, and other wildlife. Unfortunately it is not a dog friendly park so you'll have to leave your pouch at home.

This is such a nice park! It is convenient located in an urban area, so you can go on weekdays after work, and kid will love going to the pool after school or daycare. There are picnic tables and trees that offer good shade. Or you can just sit by the river and watch the swans, ducks and relax! You... More

This is a nice park in a residential area, not far from Ottawa's market, downtown and university. It is a very pleasant, urban oasis, situated along a river, with plenty of trees and space for picnics or Frisbees. There's not too much parking, however, so you may have to find a spot on the street. Come in the summer to... More

Although it is a lovely area, it isn't exactly a tourist destination. It's supposed to be a dog free park, but the paths along the river allow them and more often then not you will see dogs playing on the grass as well. Canadian Geese are also seen here , as they like to swim in the river and can... More

This park has limited parking. It runs along Range Road where many Embassies or Residences are located. There are many walkways that cross the park and one that runs along the river. Quiet and pleasant.
