We went through many layers of security to have acces to the building itself. One of the most spectacular rooms was the library, stunning wood working. The hallways were packed with interesting paintings...definitely have a guide...I’ll try to upload pictures

Couldn't see all we wanted to as the building is under construction. Still worth the visit. Was disappointed at the amount of garbage left around the outdoor fire.

On Sept 1st, we saw a beautiful show projected on the Parliament buildings on the history of Canada. Long, but very well done. We returned the next day to see the buildings - don't miss the views from the back!

It was worth seeing Parliament Hill! Just get in line early for free tickets. My husband was in line by 7:30 am to obtain same day tickets.

Free tours are offered in English and French. We went around noon and could take a 2:30 French tour. Worked for us but if you need English, go early.

This is a lovely location,. In the evening the buildings are lit making it even more lovely. The views from the rear of the area over the river are fantastic

The gothic style buildings are just magnificent!! Highly recommend viewing these buildings from the rear seating area behind the Supreme Court building down the street! This view allows for the river to be included and is of particular beauty when the leaves are changing!

Love this iconic place. Make it a point to visit whenever in town. If you have time visit the gallery and see the clowns at work. Highly recommended.

Sorry, I do not know - we were there in Sept and I would think it would be less crowded in Nov, but I cannot say for sure. What I can tell you is that tickets are available from across the street and that they are free.
