meeting a friend

One of our friends was in Ottawa at the same time and wanted to meet with us so we used the Rideau Centre as our meeting place and the foodcourt as the meeting spot.

A very busy mall with loads of stores that will guarantee you a good deal. The food court has many dining options and free WiFi is available throughout the entire mall. The mall is big and traversing the floors can be confusing. Something I didn't see was a rental cart used to push a young child around (for parents who... More

It is a shopping mall, not that big, and it seems it is constantly being rebuilt, when they decide they have finished it might be a nice place, but at it stands all it really is used as is a meeting place, and then you go some place else.

Very nice mall; but expensive stores inside. Bring your credit cards because I don't think there is much in here that you can buy with your little bit of cash. However, we did purchase some hot sauce from Pepper Palace! Pretty much every brand name was here. Pretty cool to walk around and check things out if you don't mind... More

Following a very unpleasant experience concerning the purchase of a new (and really quite expensive) watch in Toronto, my faith in human nature was restored by the help and kindness of Elizabeth, in Birks jewellers in the Rideau Centre. At the time of writing this review I am claiming the cost of the original watch against my credit card insurance... More

Love this mall. Many different shops. From luxury to regular. Its good for anybody who is looking for fashion cloths or a nice deal. Always my favorite place to shop in Ottawa and walking distance from many hotels.

I have gone there just to eat in the food court. It's beautiful, lots of choice for food and plenty of seating. You get the food on real plates with real cutlery and can also get a real glass of water so you don't need to buy bottled water. The actual is nice too with pretty much all the stores... More
