When we couldn't get tickets to Parliament we took Uber to Rideau Hall and the four of got our own hour tour and learned a lot. Plus it was free!

Beautiful well kept buildings that are home to the Governor General, set in glorious gardens and watched over by the Footguard. watch the changing of the guard on the hour in summer.
