The design and organization of this museum are amazing - the arhitects and constructors did not spear at all their efforts and imagination in order to create an art expo space for the future - excelent light, very good orientation, perfect atmosphere and music, very...More

If you want to learn about Canadian art this is the place to go. The work of the Group of 7 is well represented. The building itself is well worth a visit and both the cafe and the shop are very good.

I have been here before and loved it then and appreciate it even more. All the art to see, the different paintings, the Inuit art, words cannot describe what you see here.

This is a must go to place--the art work is diverse and memorable. There are self guided tours or take a group tour. And don't forget the Gift Shop for some unique take-home gifts.

Beautiful glass building (lets in a lot of light especially during the summertime) right in the heart of downtown. Has various collections from many different movements. Best of all, it's free Thursdays (from 5-8)! A must-visit in Ottawa!!!

We spent our whole time in the Canadian art gallery. I got to see the actual (I think...) paintings that I had heard of or seen in books and magazines. Cool...

What is the next major exhibition you will be featuring? My husband and I came from Detroit area to see Carravagio. It was fantastic!! Waiting for another one like this, or this one again.

Hi Cheri, So happy to hear that you enjoyed the Caravaggio exhibition. It was so incredible to have so many Caravaggios in one space and to see the influence he had on his followers. Our next big summer show is Alex... More
