We took a tour of the basement, a tour that I'm told is only open rarely. Really neat to see the building services and old electrical. Hard to believe that a lot of the stuff still works!

So glad that you enjoyed the basement tour. It is true that it is only open for a week every year because it is a functioning basement that we use daily. My favourite is the workings of the elevator and the fuse panel!
