Provincial Park - we are near by and natural. Located between Oakville and Burlington, Ontario. Great place to test our your camping skills or equipment. 145 electric service sites, filling and dumping station, laundry equipment, playgrounds, yurts, programs (summer), trails and a leash free area. Campers use 3201 Upper Middle Road W. During stay campers have access to day-use area (off Burloak) but my drive 6-11km to separate entrance. Day-use area off Burloak Drive has been a family favorite for decades. 13 km of trails, 11 reservable picnic shelters, children's play barn and farm, 1,8 acre outdoor swimming pool (additional fee), family and group education programs. In the Winter enjoy cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Annual events include: Maple Syrup Festival, Springtime on the farm, Ghostwalks, Camper Halloween and Victorian Christmas. Visited during the maple syrup festival and was happy with what they had to offer. The taffy was my highlight for sure. It wasn't crowded when we went so we were able to truly enjoy the experience. Looking forward to visiting in the summer months.

Went hiking in the winter, and it was nice. There are pavilions where you can sit and rest and have a fire. Lower parking areas were closed off to cars, probably just for the winter season. Nice trails along the ravine.More
