About
Welcome, come on in to Small Talk, where the distance between what you think and what you say is celebrated. Located on a quiet country road, away from the hustle and bustle of city living, we offer genuine hospitality, like good neighbours do. If you ask, you can borrow a cup of sugar, no problem. Ours is a fun winery, no pretenses allowed (well, if you insist, but not from our end). Look for the coloured barrels located around the property.

Fun, colourful winery. We had a nice time... lots of great places to take photos. Loved their ciders.

Terrible experience and customer service
Aug. 2020 • Friends
Picked this winery as a last stop for a bachelorette weekend. Was charged twice and I’ve reached out to them several times and have been ignored. Not only is this terrible customer service the samples we paid twice for was horrible! Stay away from this place!

Baby Goats and Yummy Cider!!
Aug. 2020
Awesome tasting ciders! We loved the whiskey spiked one that tasted like a vanilla dessert. The staff was so fun and friendly. We even got to play with baby goats that were on site

Interesting visit!
Aug. 2020
This vineyard has been called "quirky" and"funky" by other reviewers, and it is indeed a small and unusual vineyard to visit....off the beaten path with a unique sense of style. We chose this vineyard because of the selection of ciders they offer, as I prefer cider over wine. They had a very good selection of several flavours and we tested 2 flights of cider (which covered nearly all of their offerings). The only thing which surprised me, was that nearly all of the ciders are sold in fairly large glass bottles, not cans. This is clearly more economical and environmentally friendly, as the bottles are returned and can be re-used; but we did wish that they had a couple more options in the cans as we had wanted to purchase more of a variety of flavours. Apart from this however, it was a very nice visit.

Not your run of the mill winery
Aug. 2020 • Family
My wife and I stopped by with our 11-year old son. He had some non-fermented juice and we did a flight of cider and wine. I am a cider person, so wineries aren't really my thing. I loved the cider flavours - we went back to try more before leaving the area. The outside area is beautiful, really funky and comfortable spot and our server was supe, super friendly and really knowledgeable about ciders and flavours. The ciders can be a bit pricy for a growler, by the flavours really make it worth it. We joined the "Incider Club" and look forward to our first shipment!

Lovely location in the vine-lands of Niagara and just off one of the main routes into Niagara on the Lake.

We opted for the cider tasting......4 flavours for $10.....total liquid was probably less than 1/4 of a pint!
Yes you got a taste but the sample that was provided was to make for a profit not as an example of what the winery has to offer.
Very disappointed.

aka - Shiny Apple Cider

We were a group of 7 and we set up our own wine tasting tour. After completing our wine tour one of our group suggested we stop by this vineyard to pick up cider. This vineyard is off the beaten path but it was well worth the trip. This vineyard is well known for their ciders. Their outdoor facilities were very good. We did purchase flights of ciders and ultimately, several bottles of cider. A nice way to close out our afternoon.

Patio experience
Oct. 2019
Very interesting experience ... funky ambience. We enjoyed a flight of ciders on the patio. The only thing to improve would be lumbar support sections on the patio chairs.

Good for cider, not so great for wine
Feb. 2020
This is a great place to visit if you enjoy and would like to sample ciders. When we went in early February, there was 6 different cider samples. We wouldn't recommend Small Talks if you are just looking at wines as there was a very small selection (2 whites and 2 reds). We also found that the employees were more interested in talking among themselves instead of explaining the different samples. They were far less engaging than other wineries that we went to that day.
