Just drop me off here and I'll be happy for weeks! Great service & great selection. A great variety of delicious cheeses. I fell in love with a Merlot cheese. Just behind the main road in a cozy storefront lies this gem. The service was great and they knew their stuff about the cheeses. If I had a bottle of... More

Wandered in after the ice wine festival for some cheese and meats to accompany a bottle of wine. Eugene was superb in recommending cheeses to go with our wines, and selected the perfect amount of cheese for us, without going overboard! Local options as well. We enjoyed the options he recommended - will be back!

Stopped in here to see what it was all about and it was really neat! If you go, you have to try the carmelized onion cheddar... AMAZING! They offer cheese by the ounce and "Cheese To Go" - 1 oz of cheese, crackers, cranraisins, and apricots... DELICIOUS!!!

My husband and I first visited Cheese Secrets a few years ago back when we were dating. We decided to come back to NOTL to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and before we even got in the car to make the trip we had already discussed how Cheese Secrets would be our very first stop! This is a great... More

An entire shop dedicated to cheese. A moldy nirvana for cheese fans. Lots of local/Canadian cheeses. Some English cheeses mixed in for variety. The proprietors are friendly, and helpful with samples. They offer a "to-go" special if you want to take some to a park or your B&B to enjoy with wine. The shop is located down a side street... More

Came here for the first time with my wife looking for a place to get a small cheese platter. Great selection of high quality cheese and meats. My wife has a dairy intolerance and the selection and quality of goats and sheep cheese was very good

Thank you for the great compliments on our shop. We are hearing more and more often that people have a lactose intolerance and we are delighted to provide a nice selection of sheep and goat milk cheese, much lower in lactose than cow's milk. So happy to hear you enjoyed your picnic! More

The Cheese shop is pleasant and the server is very knowledgeable. There are a number of local and international cheeses available. All in all it's very attractive until you look at the price. Prices are per 100 grams and they are usually in the 8 to $10 range. This means that a kilo will cost close to $100, or $50... More

Thank you for the kind compliment on our staff and shop. We choose the cheeses we sell in our shop because of their artisanal and hand-crafted nature. We are a specialty shop and are very proud of the fine cheeses crafted in Ontario, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, British Columbia and Manitoba (Canadian cheeses being our focus) and of the delicious... Cheese Secrets is located on Market Street, just 1 block off Queen Street, next to the Olde Angel Inn where we were staying. We were impressed with the unique types of cheeses carried and the excellent service. Prices seemed a touch high, but then again this isn't Kraft or Cracker Barrel. Cheese Secrets also caters.

We have been here a few times now, and will always get some special cheese, plus the Goat Gouda. It melts in your mouth!
