This Gallery is a one of a kind experience. (It has moved down the street to 114 Queen Street on the other side of the road) What is incredible is the realistic art. At first most people think the paintings are photographs. Not so. What is even more awesome is that the artist himself is there on the premises painting... More

I go into this art gallery every time we visit NotL. Ed might be there working on a piece of art, or off travelling for more subjects. He's really interesting to talk to, and his artwork is amazing. I love animals and he's the best! They look real.

Beautiful art studio on the main street next to starbucks. Most of the time Ed is in and working on one of his latest creations, very amenable to answering questions, makes for a very interesting visit.

Endlessly fascinating art...talented artist with an engaging, fascinating and globally travelled personality! Ed is an amazing artist and his gallery is worth visiting! His love and passion for global wildlife is on par with the likes of David Suzuki, Sir David Attenborough and Jacques Cousteau...Edward Spera is all captured in his brilliant art pieces!!

My husband and I discovered the gallery and work of Edward Spera about 8 years ago on a visit to Niagara on the Lake and make sure we visit every trip. Although we don't attend with the specific intention of purchasing, we always find a piece or two that we simply cannot leave without. We have several pieces at our... More

I was lucky enough to speak to Edward as he worked on one of his latest pieces. He offered a few details about how he takes all the photos he uses to create his paintings. The story of how long it took to get the shark to smile was quite funny....

They say the eyes are the window to the soul. This artist captures the heart of the animals through the eyes. Phenomenal!

The artist is very talented and paints pictures of wild animals based on photos he has taken on his adventures around the world to use as his inspiration. These stories made the artwork even more interesting. The artist was there when we stopped by and was very friendly.

The first time I went into this establishment was such a treat. I bought multiple prints and could not have been more excited. The next year I was so excited to take my friend. We were totally ignored by both Edward and his help. They really treated us like we weren't likely to buy anything so it wasn't worth the... More
