Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Located below the Sheraton hotel. An area of gardens and lawns.
I imagine outdoor performances take place here. Has a raised stage area and large grassy area with benches surrounding that.
However without anything going on nice for a walk and to overview the Falls.

A very pretty area right by the Falls. Would definitely recommend especially to couples. It’s just a very pretty place to walk around and even take some nice pictures. In the winter around Christmas it’s all done up nicely with cool lights!

My husband and I visited Niagara Falls last summer and as we walked down the horrible tacky Clifton Hill, we stumbled on Oakes Garden Theatre. This park is so beautiful that we wished we could have had our wedding there. The gardens and architecture were wonderful and there is also a restaurant hidden in there.

This is truly a gem in the middle of the city. A grand view from any direction - beautiful flowers, spectacular architecture, view of the American Falls, and close to the Secret Garden for lunch.
Since I photograph elopement style weddings, the ceremony and photographs are often all held there. In the Garden itself is 2 spectacular stairways and gazebos, a Grecian type garden,an oriental garden, a stone bridge and a platform with a great view of the Falls.
Plenty of room for the kids to run. There's also a large fountain and this is one of the best places to view the fireworks in summer.

We came across this park while walking along the falls on our way to the Rainbow Bridge. Lovely manicured garden with flowers and water feature.

This is a decent size garden with fountains right across the street from where the boat leaves to view the Falls up close. There is a Sleeper Garden Restaurant right next to it. What is very unique is that it is almost hidden from view when walking along the street because it is at a higher level. You do get unobstructed views of the Falls. Since it doesn't cost anything to walk through it I would definitely recommend it.

The Oakes Garden Theatre is the entranceway to Queen Victoria Park. Located at the foot of Clifton Hill, The Oakes Garden Theatre is only one part of the park. The park extends down parkway to Murray street. There is a nice shaded trail for walking and has many other great photo spots. The Oakes Garden Theatre is probably the most popular and the day we visited (Friday June 14,2013), there was actually a couple taking their wedding photos on the grounds. This is a free attraction during your stay and there is some history you can read up regarding this park and this garden. On one of the walls here, there is a plague with information about where the garden gets its name. If you don't get off the bus and stroll a little, you will completely miss this jewel. The pond is gorgeous!

This is a nice free garden across from the falls that is very well maintained. Beautiful hedges and flower arrangements/patterns as well as structures and architecture.

The Oakes Garden Theatre is a nice little park in downtown Niagara Falls. The Secret Garden restaurant is located in the park. The park is well landscaped and a visit to the park should be fairly short as there is not a tremendous amount of things to see. There is a small parking area adjacent to the park; however, be warned, the cost to park in one of those spaces is $5 per half hour with no daily maximum. Ouch!
