- Keega16411 contributionsA Jewel of a PlaceThis is a gem of a place. Yes, it is small, but so is the entry fee. The indoor gardens are beautiful and there are so many interesting plants! The outdoor garden is full of little houses and even a waterside town. And there are also houses in a big beautiful tree. We very much enjoyed this unplanned stop.Visited September 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 25 September 2023
- Brian PMorgantown, West Virginia97 contributionsNice but SmallStopped here while in Niagara Falls because it was part of the Adventure Pass we bought. The displays were nice but the showhouse itself was quite small. We spent probably 15-20 minutes between the indoors exhibits and the outdoor miniature buildings exhibit. In the future, I'd skip the site.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 9 October 2023
- sheila270Toronto, Canada3,779 contributionsPoinsettia displayWe visited December 10 and we parked at the power plant next day. That is where we bought the Wonder passes for 6 places including this place for $49. The parking at the power plant is $35 for the day. We parked there and did 4 of the places on our pass. This place is small but there’s a miniature town in the back and in the summer the grounds are full of beautiful plants and flowers. We went in December so there’s not much to see outside except miniature village. And they have nice lights and trees decorated. And they only charge $8. The gift shop has lots of unique stuff, jewelry, hats, Christmas ornaments, cups, garden stuff. For the price this place is worth the look and you get beautiful selfies and portraits with the poinsettias.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 11 December 2023
- Harpreet022 contributionsPleasant and light hearted good experience! The place is nice. The ticket is not expensive and you get plenty of space to roam around. The place is maintained well and I could enjoy the fullest looking at all the flowers around. Overall, a pleasant experience.Visited March 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 5 May 2024

Showcase consists of basically one small building and one small outdoor loop. I think it's hard for me to appreicate the fact that this is $8 per person when other floral exhibits are much grander in scale and free (like the Bellagio).
I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. We didn't have a car, so it took longer for us to get here than the time we spent inside. If you're in the area and want to see flowers, just visit the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens up north instead. That's free and much bigger.

We stopped here only because we had the Wonder Pass and it was on the list. Sorry, but it was a waste of time! It consisted of a high-ceilinged atrium area and two small greenhouses. In total, it took us only 10 minutes to walk through, and it felt like we were taking our time. We didn't explore outside since it was snowing, so we might have missed some things. There were very few flowers, although there was a Cyclomen display. Most of the plants were identified with small signs. We got dropped off by the bus and we were back on the next bus 30 minutes later. Wouldn't return, even in summer!

I love these kind of places but this one was pretty tiny. It may only take 15min to do a loop. The grounds may be nice in the summer so you could stay longer, however we went in the winter. I did enjoy it but I'm not sure if its worth the price of parking and entrance.

Came here with Niagara Falls Wonder Pass. Small collection of tropical plants indoors. The miniature village outside was pretty neat. Good way to spend an hour or less.

This was the reason for my trip to Niagara to see the poinsettia showcase ... and it was very disappointing. It is nothing like advertised. It is only 2 very small green houses that we were able to walk through in under 5 minutes. And that included taking pictures. Not worth it.

A beautiful calm, peaceful place to visit very near the Falls. $8. admission with $5/hr paid parking. We went on a rainy day and it was lovely;we’ll worth the very reasonable price. Not large. Easy walking.

This was the only disappointing thing we did in Niagara. We were expecting more as all of the landscaping in Niagara is beautiful. This was fine but we have nicer botanical gardens around us. The miniature houses were very cute and fun to look at. We probably spent only about 30 minutes here.

I did a socially distanced Christmas arrangement workshop and also got to check out the two greenhouses and outside which had the mini village. A bit small for the admission price but its cute and worth checking out. At Christmas it would be great to see it at night. Lots of parking outside. Easy walk to the Falls.

Floral show house seems to be showing up in the wrong area on the TripAdvisor map.

Hi! I don’t think we pay anything in the parking because is around the place. But I believe there’s a machine to pay for parking but outside the place. So I’m not sure but I think we don’t pay parking.

I am planning a visit to the Butterfly Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Is the Floral Showhouse similar to the Botanical Gardens? Or do you recommend that I visit both?

I would like to know is the Floral Showhouse good for visit on a rainy day? Thanks.
Written 19 August 2016
It's a small place, less than an hour to tour. There isn't anything much to do inside (a small green house, a small shop with some plants, and a short video. Outside is a small display of miniature houses. Don't plan on spending a whole or even half a day there. The Butterfly Garden is better for a rainy day. When the rain stops, there's an outdoor beautiful botanical garden next to it. You can spent about 2-3 hours for both places..

Is the Cullen Gardens miniature village on display now? Year round? And is it more than just a handful of buildings or just the small display for a limited time?
Written 30 January 2015
Hi the floral show house is open year round almost every day. I went last April so I'm afraid I couldn't tell you anything about the miniature village display at the moment but there's no reason to believe that they wouldn't be as they were purchased by the Niagara Parks Commission in 2012. My thought is that it's a permanent display. But yes, just a collection of buildings, nothing that spectacular but nice enough to visit.
