We took this one time for pure convenience but it was pricey for a one way trip and we sat and waited until the car filled up. There are better options to get up and down from the falls.

The incline railway is a time saver. Unless you want to walk a long ways, you are forced to ride. Its $2.75 per person to ride each way. The trip lasts less than 3 min.

Especially, if you're staying at the Embassy Suites or nearby location as a US citizen. Reason being, the railway is directly across from the hotel. It saves a ton of walking. The cost of the ticket is reduced by 1/3 due to the exchange rate making it a bargain. Plus it's a cute novelty of a ride and the staff... More

Will save you from that long walk back to the top. We walked back up one day but the next 3 we rode on this. Saved our legs.

My partner and I took my mom to Niagra Falls. We are in our early 50's, she in her late 70's. The Falls Incline Railway was absolutely wonderful and greatly appreciated. We stayed at a Hilton just above the falls. While it looks like it would be a short walk to the Falls, the winding and very hilly roads made... More

A quick ride down saves so much walking! Was very impressed with the low price $2.50/each one way. A neat way to see the falls. Friendly staff!!!

While the lift is quite short ride, it is actually fun to take as it gives you great views of the Falls. Just enjoyable ride!!

This railway (located on the Canadian side) takes you directly from Fallsview Blvd at the Marriott Hotel & Spa down to the Horseshoe Falls. Quick & easy ... no need to take a taxi ... $5.50 round trip or $7.00 all day pass ... they take credit cards!! For a January trip, it was a must because of the ice... More

Staying at the Marriott Fallsview Hotel was really neat. We had an absolutely great view of the Horseshoe Falls from both our room and the Terrapin Grille. Just after lunch and it was time to go and enjoy the beauty and majesty of the falls. Now to get there. From the Marriott Hotel the shortest way is out a small,... More

We walked down to the falls from the Hilton. Didn't feel like walking back up the hill so took this instead. It was good for $2.50 per person. Quick ride which served the purpose.
