This is the home of hydro-electric power and worth stopping to look if you are passing. It's rather industrial but at the time of construction was the largest hydro-electric generating station in the world.

Even if you can't tour the facility, it's kind of amazing to stop at the overlook and see the power plant and all the power lines.

There is a small parking lot on the river side or you can park at the floral clock and walk to the pathway. There are great views of both the Canadian and American power plants. However, there are no tours of the actual power plant.

This attraction is closed to the public, but it interesting to see from a Historical perspective and current perspective regarding Hydro Electricity in Ontario.

The building is not open for tours, but you could park at either the small roadside parking lot at the south end of the plant or the floral clock and view the penstocks on the edge of the gorge.
