Short drive from the Floral Clock and Queenston Heights are you drive south to the touristy area of Niagara Falls. Majestic. Worth a stop for engineering and science enthusiasts. This and the Moses Plant across the river on the NY side are both impressive.

There are those who would blow these places up and restore the river to its former splendor if they could, but I have always been fascinated with the possibilities and blessings nature can provide to the needs of mankind .

I always wanted to walk near the Sir Adam Beck Power Station Number 2. I was able to park for free, right in front of the Robert Moses Niagara Power Plant in the States. It was close to the Canadian Hydro.

This is the home of hydro-electric power and worth stopping to look if you are passing. It's rather industrial but at the time of construction was the largest hydro-electric generating station in the world.
