QUAINT STREETSCAPE, INTERESTING SHOPS

While hard to find a place to park at times it is worth the effort. Lots of interesting places to poke around in with several nice outdoor cafes to just sit and relax.

Streetsville is a small village within the city of Mississauga where it's safe to walk around at any time of the day or night. Lots of small shops and businesses, restaurants and pubs along the main street ( which is called Main Street) In the summer there is a 'Bread & Honey' festival and the Credit River has beautiful paths... Love this little town. Lots of good eaterys around and all within walking distance of one another. Used to live here and walked through this town everyday. Small shops selling good quality items, Summer festivals happening frequently.

If you like walking the streets of little towns then this is the place to visit. If you are scheduling to take a trip to Streetsville then I would highly recommend you make reservations at "The Tea Room". This is a really nice place in an old home. Serves a very good variety of teas and the food it delish!!!... More

Reading some of the reviews here, you would think Streetsville should be on everyone's bucket list. Hardly. One main street and a few side roads, sleepy store fronts, a few restaurants, a post office, a couple of drug stores, too many nail salons, a Starbucks and a Salvation Army Thrift Store make up Streetsville. If you are driving, try not... More

A very old renewed part of Mississauga full of just about anything you want to shop for. Small yet busy post office, few Italian Barbers, a Christian book store, Salvation Thrift store, Library, bowling place, Shoppers Drug Mart, Medical and a Listen up Canada places, General dollar store yet upgraded mid town square as well as fast food shops and... My favorite place for an amazing lunch or tea time is the "The Tea Room" in a historical mansion. The setting is so relaxing. Excellent food and service... a must place to go!

We walked around this area early evening on a Saturday and although it was wet and cold outside, there were a lot of people out and about. Quite a few options for food, including coffee shops, barbershops, and interesting retail options. I'm sure when the weather is warmer, it's a fun place to explore. Parking is available on the street... More
