Very punctual, quick and easy on and off. Staff were friendly. Great for watching sunset. We took car and you MUST book in advance for there and back. Ferry holds 30 cars. The other option is to leave car and walk on.

We had the pleasure of riding the older and smaller Pelee Islander to the island and then the bigger Jiimaan back to the mainland. Two very different rides and both special in their own way. The Pelee Islander only takes 10 cars and your vehicle...More

I took the ferry from Leamington to Sandusky,MV Pelee Islander (The old boat) I know a new one is coming so my criticism is only because the boat is old and uncomfortable. The service itself was very useful to me to be able to go...More

We took the ferry from Leamington to Pelee Island and back. It was 15.50 Canadian each way. (LESS than parking.) The people were helpful and VERY accommodating. I really recommend it.

The ferry arrived on time, left on time and took us back on time as well. There are lots of spots both above and below deck. The crossing was steady and fun. There are informative videos to watch inside, a restaurant (we didn't use) and...More

I think everyone should visit Pelee Island at least once. We took the ferry from Leamington and biked the island. The ferry was a smooth ride. 1.5 hours and docked right on time. It had a cafeteria for food and drinks and lots of seating...More

This is more than a means to an end. The service is spot-on punctual, the ship clean, and there is a surprisingly well-stocked cafeteria and gift shop for a 1.5-hour trip. We took our car and everything went efficiently, but you really must arrive well...More

We happened to have a lovely sunny day, was quite cool but fine with jackets. The ferry seems to be well run and in top notch order, I look forward to another trip some time.

That did not include the bike rental. There are signs pointing to the bike rental place as soon as you leave the ferry area.
