Pleasant setting, with lots of limestone buildings

Queens reminded me of the Indiana University campus, not surprising since Kingston, like Bloomington, is in a karst area, making limestone a convenient building material.

Kingston, the birthplace of these two famous sons. Founder of Canada and the Tragically Hip. Does Hogwarts exist in Canada? Come to Queens and you'll be right at home, Harry. Vines on limestone. Quidditch on the rugby pitch. Greased poles for frosh week. Purple and golden Gaels. A small, intimate and fiercely proud place to call your alma matter.

This Queens University is situated on a high hill where one has a picturesque view of the whole Kingston. It has several campuses spread all over the place. Queens University is one of the best university in Canada where my son has completed his Executive MBA.

Loved my undergrad at Queen's - there's a huge community. Alumni stick together! Everyone tries to be pretty supportive of each other, and when you're in the Queen's bubble you definitely feel apart of Queen's history and community. Clubs are a BIG deal at Queen's and extra curricular activities of all kinds. Campus is small - takes 15 to 20... More
