very interesting story behind dundurn castle. The dress up in the clothes back in time and is a beautiful home. Usually let you taste some desserts as well. have been numerous times and loved them all :)

If you appreciate history and architecture then I would for sure recommend to check out Dundurn castle! This is my second time going. Once when I was much younger for a school trip. More recently I got to acknowledge the history and design once more....More

In Hamilton we have a "mountain" that is a big hill and a "castle" that is a big house. That said, a tour of Dundurn Castle is a great way to get some Canadian history and see how privileged people lived in the old days....More

Thank you for your review! We also offer a wonderful two acre kitchen garden which offers free guided garden tours every Saturday and Sunday at 1230pm and 2pm starting in June.

Our tour guiide (Alex) was amazing! Everythihg was well explained and it has a great history. Sir Allan the owner of the castle spent many years in the castle and had an interesting family. My daughter said this attraction must be the most interesting one...More
