There are a few farmers with good assortments of fresh produce at good prices. You can also find an excellent selection of cheeses, pastries, baked goods and meats. Unfortunately, they are closed Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. Some of the better vendors are also closed off and on during the rest of the week.

This market has existed in the same spot in the certre of downtown Hamilton for generations. It is entirely indoors. With vendors from many different sectors of interest from retail to local farmers to gormet food makers there is something for everyone. With an elevator and a ramp it is completely accessible. What I really found delightful was the number... More

We went as soon as it opened on a Saturday because it's a farmer's market, right? The sooner you get there, the better, right? Wrong. When we left an hour later, about half of the vendors were still either setting up or weren't even there yet. Having said that, it's a pretty good market, and not as pricey as some... More

It's not the same as before they renovated and chased half the farmers away. Now it's just hipster coffee and munchies and a couple of my old stops great double yolk eggs cheese and meat available stay on the top floor.

Went in one morning to look for breakfast. There were a couple shops open but not a lot for a hearty breakfast. Compared to other markets I've been to, this one seems pretty small. Not a bad place to pick up a few things. Definitely worth the browse.

Love the Hamilton market. Great produce at a fair price. Some great new additions...pokeh, eat Inc., cake and loaf. Free hour of parking right across the street in parking ramp, just have to get a vendor to validate your ticket. If you want to eat local this is the place to go.

The market has changed so much over the past 5 years. You can eat tacos, poke or ramen there now. They have Henry Brown's ice cream which is the best in Hamilton. And there is a Cake and Loaf place there! Plus meat and cheese and bulk Ontario produce- where else can you buy a massive bin of cherries? Super... More

Easy parking opposite the market, $2.50 on a Saturday. I had never been before and was impressed immediately by how bright and clean it was. Really enjoyed chatting to the vendors and buying amazing strawberries, blueberries, spaghetti squash and tomatoes. From the bakery side, wonderful Portuguese tarts and poppy seed cake and corn bread. Really good pate, ham and garlic... More
