Overview
More
Weir's Lane Lavender & Apiary is an environmentally friendly lavender farm in the countryside just outside of Dundas, Ontario (40-60 minutes west of Toronto). We promote sustainable agriculture and in addition to lavender we keep bees, have a native wildflower pollinator garden, and are growing hazelnut trees. We have a farm store with over 100 lavender and bee related products made on the farm. We also sell products made by local and Canadian artisans and other lavender farmers. Like any flower/crop, there is a prime bloom time. For English lavender it is mid-June to late July and for French lavender it is mid-July into August. We grow mostly English lavender. Our wildflowers bloom from July to early September. There is always something to explore and enjoy on the farm, even in winter. We beg to differ in your review. 95% of our products are made onsite at the farm. We are hand-crafted small batch. The farm has over 6000 plants. The 5% of products we do not make we receive from other Canadian artisans. Everything we grow...More

Weirs is a small farm in a lovely setting. We visited when the lavender was already harvested but still enjoyed our time at the farm. The shop has some wonderful lavender items! Will definatly return for another visit!

A relatively small but picturesque place with a small bee farm. Learned something about the many practical uses of lavender and what attracts bees to lavender. The farm staff was nice and pleasant. We visited on a Tuesday and got in for free.
