very nice golf course. Greens, fairways, tee blocks, its all very well maintained. Course is really not for beginners as there is lots of obstructions on the way to the greens. Unless you keep it in middle of fairways, really hilly so that's hard to do. Price was a little more than average but it is an upscale course

Visited with friends two times now, booking through Golf Now because there are some great deals on there. Course is so fun, challenging but kept really well. Rough was cut nice, greens in amazing condition (people need to fix divot marks though) and the staff is so friendly. The guy behind the desk let us have the yardage books for... More

Played a couple of rounds at Willow Valley at the and of August following a major drought. Couldn't believe how green the fairways were. This is one of the nicest public courses in southern Ontario. Pros: Great course design Well maintained Fast challenging greens with tons of elevation changes Nice practice facilities Good value for your money Cons: The greens... More

Willow Valley Golf course is just outside of Hamilton, ON. It is just South of the Hamilton airport and you can see the FedEx and other jets taking off. However, the course is great and is probably my favourite public course in Southern Ontario. For those with Garmin etc. watches, you will have to start on hole # 10 as... More

Played there Saturday, kicked us off the course after 17 holes. They had tournament in the afternoon so we had to leave. The manager is a nutcase claimed that we were too slow although we were only 4 hours and 15 minutes to the 18th tee. Being a Saturday there were many people on the course so it was a... More

The course itself is in very good condition and in a beautiful setting however the red tees, with the exception of a couple of holes, are just a couple of feet away from the white tees offering not much relief on what is quite a challenging course. The staff are very friendly however their halfway house and food cart are... More

Played here with my 3 30-something sons and had a great time. Beautiful course. Well maintained. Challenging enough but not over the top. Lots of hills and valleys. Miss the middle of the fairway and your ball is above or below your feet. A little water and lots of sand - but high quality sand that you can actually play... More

My cousin took me for a day of golf to Willow Valley Golf Club. Had never heard of it and knew nothing about what to expect. What a surprise! Willow Valley is truly one of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever seen and/or played on. The layout is lush and green and brilliantly conceived. The design is challenging... More

I really enjoy this golf course. It is well maintained, with great sand traps (if sand traps can be great). The greens are in very good condition, medium fast and very true. The staff are very friendly, and the green fee is fairly reasonable. The layout is very interesting and challenging, but fair -- not too penal. I highly recommend... More

From the opening drive … (you may not want to use your driver) … to the last approach on the 18th hole … Willow Valley is a shot makers dream! Don't listen to the 'naysayers' who have 'poo-pooed' the 'service' … it's about the golf course! The service is just fine … thank you very much. The golf course … a huge... More
