It is a wonderful place to see animals and, in addition, partake in the water activities that the park added. It's been a while since we were there but with grandkids now, I'd be sure to go there.

We took our 1.5 and 3.5 year olds for the day. What an amazingly well run place. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. The various activities are rich in experience. I can't say enough about this place. We should have gone sooner and will be going more over the next few years.

A good number of animals to see - all not far from the road. I was glad to hear they are also strong on conservation. They offer a bus to go 'on safari' which is especially nice since it is air conditioned and the windows allow one to see above the cars. Viewing by bus also keeps your car safe... More

Went as soon as park opened and I think it was the best time to drive through. Animals were all out and about and active. Took just over an hour to drive through and went again at end of the day. Park staff very attentive and monitoring closely. Great splash area for kids. Not overly impressed with boat ride but... More

This place always amazes me! I love being able to see the different animals up close! Bring a bathing suit and towels for the kids. They do have a really cool area for kids to cool off if it is during a warm summer day! They have different shows, I attended the birds of prey show which featured many different... More

The safari was a wonderful discovery for us. We took our 3 bos aged 5, 7 and 9 and we all loved it. There was a fantastic array of animals and tons of helpful staff around protecting the people and the animals. There was a good vibe of well cared for animals (one of the more successful breeding programs around... More

I first went to African Lion Safari as a kid and loved it. Today as an adult I returned as an impromptu date. While there are an impressive collection of wild beasties from around the world, my adult eyes could see the boredom and depression in the animals. Except the monkeys, I think they enjoyed climbing cars. This place is... More

We've driven through places like this before but none where the lion were roaming around free. Amazing to get so close. The shows are very fun and unique. Better then the shows they do at the zoo.

African Lion Safari was probably one of the highlights of our kids summer vacation. We first decided to spend the extra money and take the tour bus around the park. Our driver was fun and knowledgeable. Afterwards we stopped by the splash park and ate lunch. It was really really expensive to eat there so I highly recommend you budget... More
