The Trolley is very busy in the summer starting out by William's Restaurant, just east of James Street South,. The trolley goes all the way to Princess Point and if it is very hot, probably better to take the trolley than walking in the heat. There is a guide on board that tells about interesting sites along the way. Not... More

Nice informative tour of the park. Lots of history and interesting facts presented about the harbour. Reasonably priced.

We hadn't heard of the Waterfront Trolley until arriving in Hamilton and decided to see what it was all about. We caught the free bus on James Street to the waterfront, which dropped us off right at the harbour, in front of the trolley stop outside the restaurant and ice cream parlour. After boarding the conductor came by to collect... More

Great way to spend the day outside. For a small cost you cal get on the trolly and go for a ride. You definitely get your money's worth - it's a great long trolly ride along the water. You can make a day out of it down by the water. There is a William's Cafe, ice cream shop, stand for... More

Worth taking in the summer, I think it's still under $5/ride but do bring a pillow (it is a bit bumpy), a sweater (it's chilly by the water) and maybe some mosquito repellent if you're doing it in the afternoon. Stop by Scoops at the Waterfront beforehand and get a scoop of ice cream. Much more fun like that.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Trolley ride. It's great for families young and old and gives a nice tour of the area. You have the option of getting on and off however we chose to stay on. I didn't realize how lovely the waterfront and it's trails were. The location is easy to get to, free parking and great value for... More

A very nice tour, my family and I really enjoyed it. The tour is 1h 10m long and is about 13km in distance as per the tour guide operator. You really get to see a lot of the waterfront and parks in the area. Your kids will have a blast. It was very nice and I highly recommend this tour.

A nice, relaxing way to tour the waterfront. Great for those not up to a long walk - and really good for the price.

This was great for an afternoon family outing with young children or persons with disabilities. The train gave us a great little tour. Our children loved ringing the bell for the train and we stopped for ice cream after the train stopped to drop us off.
