I grew up in Guelph going to this church. It is beautiful and awe-inspiring. I'm not a Catholic, or religious, but I still bring visiting friends to see it and enjoy the view.

If you love history, architecture, and those that put the effort into the creation of this beautiful edifice..You will not be disappointed wandering through this historic landmark..Also if you love to read pick up a copy of Ken Follett's, Pillars of the Earth.gives you a perspective of the stone masons that carved these incredible monuments..

We went at 6pm on a Tuesday after visiting the Guelph Civic Museum next door and the church was beautiful in the evening light. The interior was stunning. Even our two young children were awed. Worth a visit.

Went to a Saturday evening mass while visiting friends in Guelph. We were made to feel very welcome. The parish priest spoke to us on the way out, and was actually interested in where we were from and our home parish. The church is BEAUTIFUL and so well kept, the grounds give a sense of peace!!

One of the nicest churches i've ever been in. Basilica of our lady id not just a place to pray but it's a beautiful piece of history. It is the top tourist attraction in guelph but I am surprised it doesn't bring more tourists in. I highly recommend going if your nearby.
