Lots of interesting fashion memorabilia on well arranged displays. Worth the visit while in this area, or for those who are interested or study Fashion. Wish, this museum will get some money to expand.

Thank Igor K

Thank-you for your kind remarks. We are working to improve our financial support, and we are getting ahead, but it comes slowly!

My friend and I went for an afternoon out while they had their Jane Austen exhibit. Despite the museum's size, they interpreted the information very clearly and had some wonderful artefacts to display. Good girls afternoon out!

Located in the former old Hespeler village (slowly being gentrified ) The museum is housed in the former post office building. There was a decent curated history of the former local textiles industry and the fashion clothes on display . Some interesting bits of history...More

Quite a few interesting things to see but be prepared, it's really small. Kids get in free and adults are $5

Great things come in small packages! Don't be fooled by our square footage, we show a lot of extremely rare and beautiful objects at the Fashion History Museum.

Loved it! Small, but that meant it was possible (unlike larger museums) to read all the descriptions in detail. Spurred lots of discussions and reminiscences with companions, and a really fun way to revisit history.

An absolute gem of a museum OMG. What a great place, rich in history, showcasing the glamour and fashions of a time long gone. Ironically perhaps, it's located in Hespeler (north side of Cambridge), where the textile industry played a prominent role in defining the...More

Far too little to see. The clothing was beautiful and the displays were nice... there were two TV's showing some info, one major display and one with like six outfits? I thought there may be something interactive for my daughter, but they only had a...More

I am sorry your little girl didn't enjoy the scavenger hunt - it has been a popular activity with most of our child visitors, perhaps she was too young for it. We find it best suits 8 - 13 year olds. We know the museum...More

A wonderful chronology of Canadian fashion development. I wish it was a bit more complete and also offered insight into some of Canada's fashionistas and trendsetters. The rating is simply because it was incomplete. R

If you want to read more on the topic, the museum is publishing a book about Canadian fashion next year.

A lovely museum! I was blown away by their Fashioning Canada exhibit. Wonderful collection, great research, and a fantastic little gift shop!
