A nice city park right on Lake Simcoe, but with little to add except for the waterfront. There are some nice installations inside the park, but a thorough visit feels like it takes less than 15 minutes.

Go there many times when weather allows. We usually have a meal there. I have older adults that I care for. Easy for wheel chairs access. Lots of shade trees to relax under. All in all a clean great place just to relax..

Always nice to walk around the lake. Weather was perfect and we went early to avoid the crowds. I've been going to that park since I was young and my kids loved it there.

The lakeshore parks in Barrie are quite nice and extensive. Long paths, gardens throughout, and a beach.

There are no public BBQs in this locale. You would need your own hibachi or similar

Parking is by the hour and there are multiple parking lots available. There are shaded areas in the park for hot days.
