I took 4 kids aged 15, 13, 10, and 8 to Calypso. We had a fun time, though some of the lines were long and it was a bit crowded (even though it was a rainy day, so I can't imagine what it would be...More

Thank you for your comment, we appreciate all customer feedback. Hope to see you at the park in 2019!
Best waterpark around! My husband and I have been going twice a year for the past 3 years. So much fun, and very affordable. The food court is your typical food court, hot dogs, burgers etc, but doesn't cost a fortune like typical amusement parks....More
Extremely crazy busy. Line ups were ridiculously long. Typical theme park waits. Rides were fun, but not really worth all that waiting. Food was very average. Gift shop was just sad, so sad. You have people trapped out in the middle of nowhere! At least...More
Calypso has an endless number of water attractions for kids of all ages, and for adults as well. One can easily spend an entire day there and then do it again the next week and not get bored.

Brought my two kids this summer in July. We had a blast and was able to get them to do a few water slides for the first time.
They both loved the wave pool and lazy river. We ate dinner and enjoyed it. It was...More
It's a good day spending time with your lover, with a perfect weather and it's also good to go there during the weekdays to avoiding the crowds. We have a lot of fun and we play everything.
A day at this park, just wow! So many attractions and slides, theres absolutely something for everyone! When we go to places like these, we like to go for the full day, and if that's what your planning, make sure to bring some food and...More
Hubby and daughters had a great time, but since there were only 3 of them going, thought it would be a better price to use either CAA or Military discount than the Costco 4 person pass that had to be ordered online.
Turns out that...More
My son, my mom, and I go every year and it is always worth the money.
We bring food in coolers to save money (food is very expensive) and arrive before it opens (9:30am) and stay until closing.

The water in all the areas (wave pool, water slide basins, play areas) have a filtration system and the water is constantly being cleaned throughout the day.
So the water will be the same cleanliness all day long.

Steffie16 the water park is about a 30 min drive outside of Ottawa so it’s not close to anything you will want to do in Ottawa itself. We were just there for Canada day weekend and stayed in Gatineau and walked across the bridge to downtown Ottawa Didn’t have to worry about parking and our hotel in Gatineau was 50% cheaper then in downtown Ottawa. We rented a car for a few days and used it to get to the water park. Hope this helps.
