This was not our first choice but was the 1st choice recommendation for the place we went to that was closed! Sound strange, well everyone has their favourites so one persons recommendation is not always somebody else's. The first place was closed for lunch but they recommended Good Earth so that seemed like as good a recommendation as you can... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. We sat on their outdoor patio which is surrounded by the vines loaded with ripe grapes, and beautiful gardens. The farm to table food was absolutely outstanding, as was the service. A must stop for a relaxing afternoon

We enjoyed a wonderful outdoor garden lunch of tasty and original selections. The rose wine is superb. The wait staff is attentive and friendly and the food is very well prepared and ready in no time. Life background music was provided. The restaurant is only open at selected times, so a reservation might be helpful. A stop at Good Earth is... More

I would highly recommend stopping off and having some lunch on your wine tour at the Good Earth. The patio was all booked up but the dining room inside with bright, airy, and country adorable. The food was quite nice however my soup was quite mild in flavour, and what was described as a jerk tofu dish was really more... More

My wife and I were out to find a fresh fruit stand and headed out along Hwy 8 starting in Stoney Creek travelling thru Grimsby and Beamsville. We passed a few places - but had a slight hunger on. After finding out that East Dell Estates no longer was operating - we decided on this enchanting winery. Situated just slightly... More

We recently had dinner at the Good Earth, with 5 couples, and it was a fantastic experience. A beautiful, light and airy dining room greeted us, along with some phenomenal wines, excellent service and fantastic food! The chefs outdid themselves with a beautiful meals all made with local food, and paired fantastically with local wines. The Cabernet Franc was absolutely... More

Nicolette Novak and her team have expanded to a summer patio that is - mouthful for mouthful - as good as any of the vaunted restaurants in the Niagara peninsula. But you'll feel completely relaxed and the prices are extraordinarily low. The wine is excellent, especially the Rosé (95% Cabernet Franc, 5% Pinot Noir). The pizza was excellent, and the... More

If you are looking for something special - THIS IS IT. My husband and I attended a winemaker's dinner at the Good Earth - we dined amongst the vineyards and orchards savoring incredible food and top notch wines (13th Street). I can't say enough about the setting and the staff - warm hospitality in a location so idyllic that it... More
