Great libary. Right in the heart of Halifax. Good for all ages. My 3 kids love it they are 9,11,14. Fun for all ages.

Beautiful new building catering to all population. Special floor for kids and area for youth (teens) Lots of print and non print - computer access family areas, coffee shop/food service Green roof to assist with cooling and water usage Loved it

We recently held an event in the Paul O'Regan Hall, which is a beautiful facility. It has comfortable seating and good audio visual equipment and acoustics. The food supplied by the cafe was delicious!

For bibliophiles a visit to a modern library built with many features but reportedly ran out of money to buy books so seeks donations of books from the public.... May your way to the top floor for a great view of Halifax

If you go to the Halifax Public Libraries web-site there is a kids events listing on the left hand side.
