This boardwalk runs much of the waterfront, and it will be beautiful. But for now, heavy construction along much of the route means you can't enjoy it all.

This is a nice walk if somewhat understated. There are some lovely photo ops. A section includes some superb memorial statues to different people. It's very moving.

It was pouring while we walked from our hotel to the boardwalk and it made for a perfect visit as we dipped into the various shops or pubs along the pier.

We were impressed with the shops and sights. We are not really shoppers, but these were unique to us and the architecture was enough to keep us drawn in. Loved the views. It was a very nice morning activity.

If you were around the waterfront you definitely want to look at the boardwalk. There is an anything really special here but you might find a big yacht sitting in the harbor for some cool boats. There were a few dozen shops and restaurants but...More

The day my wife and I were in the downtown area of Halifax we walked along the board walk and walkways at the edge of the water. It made for a very restful stroll with the breeze blowing and the availability of drinks, food and...More

Not a very long walk but interesting and busy. We walked as far as we could until the path cut in inland after the cruise terminal and continued to Pleasant Park.

Such a nice walkway, mostly wooden with a real authentic harbor feel. All along the harbor with lots of museums, restaurants, high end and basic, along with shops for tourists. At the far end is Pier 21 and the Market.

We walked down to the boardwalk last week to catch the full moon rising over the harbor. It was spectacular! Even with a fair amount of construction going on, we had plenty of room to walk and explore. There are a number of pubs and...More

Off our cruise ship on a gray rainy day - decided to take Harbourwalk since it offered walking access to both the Maritime Museum and the Harbor ferry which we had planed to see and ride. Obvousily the Broadwalk area is built for better weather...More

With direct access from the cruise terminal to the casino, the boardwalk is a nice way to while away an hour or so, as long as the weather is not too bad. With plenty of places to eat, drink and shop along its length, it's...More
