The neighbourhood and history here is interesting and might be worth the visit, but don't come for the "market". Made up of only a few shops, I honestly didn't even know I was at the market - I was definitely expecting something a bit bigger....More

Really love this spot . Excellent little restaurants and shops . We come here often for lunch . This is a really old unique section of the city that was rebuilt after the Halifax Explosion .

This is a little trendy area of Halifax that's great to stroll around, or to stop for a coffee or meal. Restaurants are a little more pricey than other places in Halifax but it does have a nice vibe!

The area is interesting but the parking or lack of can make it difficult if you are not familiar with the area good restaurants and some interesting stuff. A small bakery has wonderful muffins and cookies

Halifax's secret neighbourhood hangout, this is a good place to visit for some local hangouts. Maybe getting a bit more commercial than it once was, but still a good standby for getting away from the main sites.More
