Beautiful church, went to Mass, choir was excellent, beautiful stained glass windows (originals blown out in the Great Explosion). Nice way to spend a Sunday morning.

Beautiful church in historic Halifax. Fairly recent construction (for Canada) but good to visit. Try to find a quiet time to enjoy and learn about the history of hte place.

We felt most welcome during Sunday morning's Mass at the Basilica. It is a beautiful basilica and is in walking distance from the area hotels.

If you can take a few minutes to visit this historic gem you won't be disappointed. Just BEAUTIFUL! The surrounding area offers additional historic sites - if you are on a pilgrimage or just a history buff you will appreciate the beauty of this area.

This is one of the historical church in city. It's in downtown and within city limits. Having wheelchair access and ample space . We could attend couple of mass here, it was a good time. Only sad part is the less participation of people for...More

15 +/- minute walk (1 +/- km). Some uphill walking. Worth the walk.
