We attended Saturday evening Mass. What a stunning church. We booked a tour of the church for after mass and the young man who hosted the tour was excellent. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history of this church....More

Fascinating architecture and perhaps religious significance. We were walking around the downtown looking at the historic preservation efforts and came upon the church, great efforts have been taken to preserve the building.

Restful and quiet stop to pray and reflect. Beautiful artwork and worth the stop on the way down the hill back to town or your cruise ship.

We went to mass here and struck up a conversation with an usher who very kindly showed us around the church. His pride in the facility was amazing.

Didn't stay too long because there was a Mass going on. Inside side and out was just inspirational. Make sure there isn't a mass going on so you could walk around the inside of the church.

Visited the church on Monday. It's a nice size very open and lots of stain glass windows. Had stopped in and mass going on . It was very peaceful. Stayed afterwards and looked at the complete church

The design and architecture, coupled with the stained glass windows, make this a worthwhile place to visit and meditate.

Originally constructed of wood, it was replaced by a stone structure beginning in 1820.The facade and 189 foot spire are built entirely of granite. The interior has impressive columns, a vaulted ceiling, and numerous wonderful stained glass windows.

This is a historic site but also a place of worship open to the public. We were able to attend Mass on Saturday evening. The music was way over done to our liking. Good sound system and helpful ushers.
