Early spring not the best time to visit

Pretty clock tower. Unable to access interior, just view from outside. Broken glass from alcohol bottle outside.

More of a landmark than something to see or do, it stands above most of the city as it is located on citadel hill.

Citadel Hill, a historic spot for all visitors, the Town Clock overlooks the city downtown, a great view from the hill, while there visit historic Citadel Hill.

It is the main icon of the city. Unfortunately it was closed, but it's worth at least taking a picture, because it's as much a part of Halifax as Canada's history.

The clock was very beautiful and it has a lot of history behind it. I would recommend tourists to see this magnificent clock

The clock tower on Citadel Hill is one of the most iconic buildings in Halifax. There isn't really much to do at the tower itself but you can get a good view of Halifax from the top of the hill. The clock tower is in the heart of downtown and thus it's not out of the way to go see... More

There really isn't much to say about the tower. It is visible from many of the streets downtown and if you climb up to the Citadel it is certainly right in front of you. There are no tours of it (that I know of), its just a nice old clock tower and a piece of Halifax history. It's been there... More

We stood across the street and draw this old clock tower. The architecture is classic and somewhat challenging.

There's not an awful lot to say about Halifax Old Town Clock other than it's probably Halifax's best known landmark and it's easily found along the downtown side of the Citadel. Time was, apparently, when no building in the city was allowed to be taller than the clock tower so it was visible throughout the area. It's not entirely clear... More

My Dad and I went to this place, had pictures taken in front of the clock! My dad has since passed away but our memories there will last forever! You must go there!
