Chocolate covered jujubes keep us coming back. The crazy decor, gag gifts and colourful decor are sensory overload. But it’s candy. Wish they had more Australian licorice for bulk sales.

Lots of sweet treats that you don’t find in other places. I needed at least two trips around the store to take everything in, and I’m sure I missed some things! Some original novelty items and throwbacks.

Great stop for forgotten throwbacks, new favorites, international treats. Even if you don’t want to buy anything, stop in and check out the decor and snarky signs.

Great stuff, didn’t have a few delicacies I was looking for (lemon sherbets, bonbons etc) but a good selection anyway. Friendly staff and fun music. Amazing sweets!

Love this place. They have such a great selection of candy, some of them old-fashioned. Everyone working here is always helpful. I stop every time I’m in Halifax. And, of course, I buy some candy every time.

Huge selection of bulk and pre-packaged candy, from cherry blasters and jelly belly to chocolate bars and novelty items. Great selection in the brightly coloured store, and a go-to place for those hard to find chocolate bars and gifts (years ago I purchased band-aids with...More

Every once in awhile, I'll visit the Freak Lunch Box to buy candy (Discos) -chocolate round discs the size of a dime topped with different color sprinkles. I remember in my elementary school days, take a $0.25 cents and going to the corner store, close...More
