Tour was very easy to set up via email. We liked the idea that it was done by college students. Our guide, I believe, was Erin. She met us promptly at the observation area outside the Citadel. As we walked down the hill, she stopped...More

Our tour guide Erin was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I like that she differentiated known facts from stories. Can't complain since it's pay as much as you want. The tour was about the important places in Halifax, important historical events, anecdotes, and recommendations...More

We enquired by email out of season and found Jessica leading one at 3 pm, so we joined. A great introduction to Halifax, with helpful answers to sometimes quirky questions. Jessica’s restaurant suggestions were useful and accurate too.

Jessica was a wonderful guide. Lots of information. Tour size depends on how many show up and I think they only send one guide. Very informative.

The Lord Nelson is about a 10-15 minute walk from the observation deck of Citadel Hill. We talk about the Citadel, pass by Spring Garden Road, go by St. Paul's Church, and then walk along the Halifax Waterfront.
