We have been visiting the Tattoo as a family for over 15 years and thoroughly enjoy it every year. We would have liked more marching bands this year (particularly my Grandfather who is a veteran), but we all really enjoyed some of the new acts,...More

We were so excited to get tickets to see what a military tattoo was all about! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance - we enjoyed the military music being mixed with the smaller acts; we loved how the smaller acts helped create areas of darkness...More

A mix of military acts as well as other acts that are purely entertainment. My favorites moments was the honoring the Canadian Veterans, the acrobats from Kenya, German cyclists and Russian dancers. But enjoyed them all. If you are in Halifax around Canada Day, this...More

I travel a thousand miles to hear and see military music, not novelty acts. I would prefer the tattoo stay true to that. Honor the military for their sacrifices. Let their bands entertain with marches, classical music, music native to their home countries, show tunes...More

We have been to the Tattoo three times, including the 2018 Tattoo and this was a disappointment. There was only one bagpipe group versus the 3-4 in previous years. Several of the acts were repeated 3-4 times throughout the 2 hours. We understand the Tattoo...More

We'd never seen a Tattoo so had no idea what to expect. This was an incredible experience! The choreography in moving from one act or group to the next was extremely well done. It was fantastic!

The Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo is an amazing performance which moved us to tears on a number of occasions. The massed bands were phenomenal. The various acts moved seamlessly from one to the next - hundreds of performers flowing on and off stage. The...More

Arrive with plenty of time to spare. There is lots of parking but either down on waterfront or way back in the boonies. Just Google the event plus parking and you will see options including the parking for the large shopping... More
