The agave plant was getting ready to bloom. Loved the various fruit and spice plantings. Very well manicured and lovely.

As a committed gardener, it was wonderful to see this historic gem of a city block in bloom. Happened to be there on the Sunday and enjoyed the live Dixieland band playing in the bandshell.

Not sure about September but we have all kinds of different flowers all Summer long. It is a very popular place for all the tourists to visit. They all listen to music being played from the Bandstand etc.

Yes, just be sure the dog is leashed. They have people watching at times.

Ten minutes costs 25 cents. And you can park around the perimeter of the park.
