Although we went in fall the gardens was still abundant with flowers and shrubs with a lake and band stand. Well worth a visit and take some bread for the ducks.

This is one of my favourite parks - it is beautifully cared for with formal flower beds and some beautiful trees that have replaced those that were damaged in the hurricane about a decade ago. There is a large pond where a model of the...More

Originally the Queen's Gardens, these are lovely to walk through with many different floral displays at different times of the year. There is a central band stand in the center of the park.

Halifax Public Gardens is just beautiful - lots of variety in plantings and spacious walking paths. We were at the Lord Nelson and visited the gardens multiple times - very peaceful and a very nice way to start the morning.

An oasis in the middle of the city. Stroll along the paths through the manicured gardens, or sit on a bench and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Very much mimicking an English public garden of the Victorian era. Worth a walk through. I enjoyed my brief chat with the gardeners to discuss the differences they face to temperate climates.

We were here in October and the gardens were still stunning. These are beautiful grounds to stroll or jog through - we also felt very safe as it’s full of people. Make sure to visit the resident geese!

The Halifax Public Gardens is absolutely beautiful. The Fall colors were magical. One of the most well designed and well thought out collection of trees and flowers we have seen. A must see!
