A interesting place to spend a couple of hours. In our opinion, the best part was the Titanic section which was full of interesting facts and items. Well worth a visit

Lots of detail on the Halifax explosion. A little less information on the Titanic. Boats, models, preservation, other ocean wrecks and current naval information. From parrots to pontoons. 1 hour would be rushing so 2 hr would be better.

The museum is very nice, with a good collection and a dedicated Titanic exhibition. There are 2 ships that you can visit outside. During our visit, one of the ships were supposed to be available, but it was not.

Two tragic shipping accidents ;the famous Titanic the closest port to the sinking and the explosion in 1902 which also killed 1000s. Interesting collection of artifacts tells the story of both serious catastrophes. Audio visual display needs some improvement, but the real stories are told...More

While we went primarily for the Titanic exhibit, we found a lot more to see. They do have a nice assortment of Titanic artifacts, but they also have quite a bit of historical data to share about the city and its seafaring past. We also...More
