This is part of a walking trail.its a great place to start or end a nice walk.It connects to Shubie park,which has many walking trails.It also has an of leash area fir your four legged friend.

Great spot for family picnic, taking pictures of the harbor and visiting near by shops. Located downtown Dartmouth waterfront. Quick jaunt across the harbor to Halifax, kids love the Ferry! Lots to do in Summertime, venues, shopping, walk to historic areas, close to Sullivan's Pond....More

Nice collection of stones from many different countries. The pavilion, with its striking architecture, is hard to miss while walking along Alderney Landing and has a nice vantage point for admiring the Halifax skyline.
