Stopped by to donate a book to the archives and were invited in without paying admission. Only spent about 45 minutes because we were short on time.

I guess it's an opportunity missed... I grew up in Nova Scotia and my children grow up here. We do as much as we can... but whenever we stop here, it is not open.

Extremely well documented story of the experiences of the Black peoples of Nova Scotia. Makes us reassess our level of tolerance in this province and appreciate the contribution that the Black Nova Scotians have made to our history, culture, and legacy.
